MeRrY ChRiStMaS!!

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas this year! We had a really nice one. We had a nice X-mas Eve dinner with Justin's family and a nice X-mas day breakfast with them too! Brennan got lots of cool presents... The "Pop Tunes" Guitar, a remote control car, and a homemade blanket from Auntie Sam were a few of his favorites. Today Aunt Sam, Grandma & Donald, and Nicole & Aaron all came over for our own little Christmas visit. It was a lot of fun to see them. One present Brennan got today was an awesome alligator stuffed animal/ pillow from Grandma. It's super cute and soft and can be a pillow or fold up to be a stuffed animal. What little kid wouldn't love that? Well Brennan did NOT want it. As soon as he opened it and saw it, he was just scared of it. We tried to get him used to it, but he wanted nothing to do with it. It was really funny. Throughout the rest of the evening, he warmed up to it and now he loves it. He couldn't go to bed without it. He is now peacefully sleeping with his alligator pillow, his new blankie, his teddy bear, and a dinosaur toy Nicole gave him. He had to have it all to go to bed. Anyways, it was a nice Christmas and Brennan is one happy boy... thanks to his awesome family for all the gifts! Next comes his birthday on Thursday... he's gonna be one spoiled kid!

Happy Halloween!!

We had a fun little Halloween this year! Brennan was a turtle... I loved his costume! Unfortunately I had to work so I was afraid I wouldn't be able to take him trick or treating... but luckily I got off early and made it home early enough. He loved trick or treating. He went right up to the doors and and said "treat" cause he had a little trouble saying the whole "trick or treat." He gripped onto his pumpkin candy basket and wouldn't let anyone else touch it. We went home, had a few pieces of candy, and called it a night.

The Fair....

We took Brennan to the fair last night and it was a lot of fun. I wasn't too sure if he was quite big enough to enjoy it, but he did. We started the night with some yummy fair food then walked around the fair booths for a while. We went and saw all the animals and fed some. We even saw some farm lady milking a goat and the she must have been thirsty because she started drinking the milk straight from the utter! It was.... interesting. We ended the night with a few games and rides. It was a lot of fun and I'm sure we'll go back next summer!

Eagle Lake....

We had a ton of fun at Eagle Lake this year! It was really cool to see everyone there. Despite Brennan getting sick for a day or two, it was way worth the trip. Brennan loved spending some quality time with his cousins and made a new friend, Drew. Since we've gotten home he has called out Reese's and Drew's names countless times. Here are some of our favorite pics of the week...

4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July this year! We had a big BBQ at Justin's aunt's house with about 30 people. Before everyone came over Brennan went swimming in the kiddie pool while it was pretty nice outside. Then out of nowhere came the biggest hail storm I've seen since moving to Idaho. It's weird because it probably rained at least 20 days out of June and as soon as it left, it came back 10 times worse of 4th of July. Idaho weather is so crappy and unpredictable! The streets flooded and the ground was covered in ice for about an hour and a half and then it just ended. The sky cleared and we got ready for fireworks. Luckily, we live just up the street from the fairgrounds where they do the Pocatello firework show, so we were able to set up chairs on the front lawn and watch at our house. Brennan loved watching fireworks... it was his first time seeing them.

Grandma's House...

Yesterday we drove down to Herriman to go to my mom's/Grandma's house. Brennan and his Grandma were really missing each other so it was time for a visit. We had fun visiting the fam and hanging out at her new home. Brennan had lots of fun... he got to take a bubble bath in Grandma's big bath tub and eat ice cream with Sam. Although I think Samantha was more excited about the ice cream.

Disc Golf...

So recently I've gotten into a new hobby... disc golf. Justin has played for a while and I always thought it seemed pretty lame. It's pretty much frisbee and golf combined, except you play with a slightly smaller and heavier frisbee called a a disc and you aim into metal baskets. Once we moved to Idaho, Justin found some courses and started playing almost daily. After a while, I decided to go with him to see what it was all about. I played and actually had a lot of fun. So lately, we've been playing a lot of disc golf. The courses are usually within parks so we take Brennan and when we're done playing, we take Brennan to go play on the playground. So now we have a family activity that we all have fun doing and best of all, it's free!
